State of the A.I. takeover.

A.I. is great and I have to admit I was tempted to have it write this article. Why did I stop? After spending a couple days testing some amazing new A.I. tools, I feel I have hit the A.I. wall. But wait! I did add a couple processes to my workflows. To be specific, it started with generating some ad headlines, then I thought I was cleaver and had it write me a birthday poem for my wife (She thought I was clever too).

At this point, I spiraled out of control, I just got done having it analyze my whole life. So here I am, taking it's advice.... and writing a heartfelt blog post about why... I don't like it. The worst part is that the A.I. was right. AHHH!!!!

That aside, let's lens in on just how helpful A.I. is. First, thing you will want to do is test it yourself. Head to something like bard.google.com and get your pinch of salt ready. When you use Bard you will find something great. There are limitations, for example: I asked Bard to analyze my website. Most of it's advice was spot on. Then, I asked it to fix the problems, for me, the details just didn't add up (I ended up makings the changes but not using any generated content).

Another issue I have ran into is dated information. Typically if you type a query into a search engine you will be able to see dates and times on the material. Also, if new material is out, the websites may ad a deprecation notice.  For example, I asked Bard to recommend a few software frameworks. It did and most where spot on, but one is no longer in development and soon will not be supported. I do not think A.I. is picking up on all the details in the websites it scans. I have also noticed a similar problem in regards to A.I. writing code. For me I find it using software packages that are not well supported, or have obvious limitations.

Back to my paradox, while A.I. wrote my wife a cute and catchy poem that contained her favorite tv shows, it wasn't mind-blowing, and the details it chose she felt were not from me. That being said anything A.I. generates I seem to find worth considering and when it said my website needed a blog, I thought yeah, I have heard that before, and got to work raising my SEO even higher. I believe it's a great tool for ideas and productive.

Thanks,

-Brian
